Product details
Children and young people work together to create a book about the state capital of Saarbrücken and the surrounding area. They present themselves and their living environment from different perspectives, try out different design methods and experience themselves as part of the social fabric. Starting from this simple idea, they painted, drew and photographed, wrote poetry, told stories and experimented. The ordinary and the unusual were collected, developed together and put together. The project offered many opportunities to express and communicate, the interest in the articles of others contributes significantly to mutual perception. But the result is also interesting for outsiders. It shows much more than different views of the city of Saarbrücken and its catchment area. We get to know young people, find out where they like to spend their time, what they do and think, what they like about their hometown of Saarbrücken and what they like less. We feel the rhythm of the city and get an insight into the attitude to life of the people who live there.
