An overweight woman and her lover, a little person, are stared at by everyone and everything. While the woman wants to hide from the world, the man consciously draws attention to himself. As he begins to compile his lexicon of glances with almost obsessive zeal and crosses certain boundaries for his research, their love is put to a severe test.
