It is war. Soldiers kill, and the media engages in character assassination. The propaganda machines on both sides are running hot. The truth is twisted by being shared: halved, quartered, fragmented. Fragments are mixed, enriched with emotions and a bit of exaggeration. Convenient sharpening is the term used. The question remains unanswered: What is more repulsive, the blood on the battlefields or the salt of crocodile tears shed in the boardrooms of defense contractors? The war chest rings.
