Following the successful reissue of the first volume of the Schott Missal for weekdays and the feast days of saints, volume 2 for the first half of the liturgical year (1st to 17th week) is now available. The Schott contains the original texts from the authentic edition of the Missal and the lectionary, published by the Benedictines of the Abbey of Beuron. The Schott Missal allows users to follow all texts of the Catholic Eucharistic celebration, providing a deeper and more conscious access to the liturgy of the service. Additionally, it serves as a practical aid for all clergy, lay ministers, and volunteers in church service, from the pastor to the cantor, in preparing for worship.

The volumes offer in detail:
* Concise commentaries on the biblical readings – a deepening of faith.
* Structuring of the biblical readings (according to the revised New German Translation 2016) into speaking lines as in the lectionary – a practical aid for liturgical planning.
* Responsorial psalms arranged for singing – a useful support for cantors.
* Careful selection of relevant intercessions for each day – a personal prayer book.
* Short biographies of the saints from the Missal.
* Clear, legible typography, two-color printing on thin paper, colored front and back matter – also a valuable gift book.
* Includes the liturgical calendar for the coming years.

The new Schott Missal for weekdays is published in three volumes:
Volume 1 covers the weekdays of the liturgical seasons (Advent and Christmas, Lent and Easter) along with the corresponding feast days of the saints (released in 2023). Volume 2 contains the weekdays in the liturgical year up to the 17th week with the corresponding feast days of the saints. Volume 3 will include the weekdays in the liturgical year from the 18th to the 34th week, marking the end of the liturgical year, along with the corresponding feast days of the saints (in preparation).
