Product details
Franz Schubert wrote 634 solo songs and, with this enormous and extraordinarily varied uvre, established the genre in the music history of the 19th century. Many of these songs, such as the cycles Die schöne Müllerin and Winterreise, but also the numerous settings of poems by Goethe or Johann Mayrhofer, belong to the core of Schubert's song oeuvre, while others are less well known, some completely unknown.
