Rolf Zuckowski, born 1947 in Hamburg, studied business administration. He has been composing and singing children's songs since 1977 and is known to a wide audience with Rolf's "Vogelhochzeit" and Rolf's "Schulweg-Hitparade". Today he lives with his family near Hamburg. Julia Ginsbach, born in Darmstadt in 1967, studied music, art and German language and literature in Heidelberg after her school years and completed her studies at the Institute for Children's and Youth Book Research in Frankfurt am Main. Today she lives with her husband and five children, lots of paints, brushes, paper, books and music in a large manor house in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and loves to illustrate children's books.
