An open-air gallery with more than 120 works of art, a housing project inspired by Bauhaus visions for up to 100,000 people, and a bird paradise in the countryside - this is how Halle-Neustadt could be described, the "city of chemical workers" founded in 1964, which is now part of Halle (Saale) as it was in its beginnings.
