The basis for this work is the study area of Toronto, a city also known as the City of Toronto in the English-speaking world. The starting point is primarily a trichotomy in the subject of urban geography, which serves as a theoretically and literarily grounded foundational knowledge, followed by the cultural-genetic urban type of the Anglo-American city, as well as a more detailed historical and socio-cultural development of the city of Toronto as a distinct urban area. This is followed by a synthesis of the previously mentioned components and the application of the previously developed literary and local knowledge through an analysis of urban geographical developments, which includes convergences and divergences in the model of the Anglo-American city. The conclusion consists of future concepts and plans that round off the scientific work.
