The present book deals with systemic solution-oriented coaching ("Karlsruhe School") as a support for learning. Within the coaching concept, the so-called pattern state change plays a central role. A pattern state is a holistic state in which certain emotions are accompanied by specific cognitions, bodily reactions, and behaviors. In systemic solution-oriented coaching, the aim is to guide a coachee or client from a problem state or problem pattern to a solution state or solution pattern using specific interventions. Following a theoretical introduction to the topic of coaching and learning in coaching, a more detailed description of the specific coaching concept is provided. Subsequently, the examination of pattern state change is described as the core of the concept.
