Kerstin Janson (née Lenecke) was a research associate at the International Center for Higher Education Research at the University of Kassel (INCHER-Kassel) from 2004 to 2012. In 2006, she initiated the Graduate Studies Network together with Harald Schomburg, which led to the development of the cooperative project. She is a co-founder of the Network for Young Researchers in Higher Education and was a board member of the Society for Higher Education Research. Since October 2016, Kerstin Janson has been an advisor for research and quality assurance at IUBH.

Jana Niemeyer, M.A., completed a B.A./M.A. in Cultural Anthropology/European Ethnology at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, focusing on Media Anthropology. Since 2013, she has been a research associate at the central eLearning facility "studiumdigitale" in the field of media didactics and evaluation. She also teaches courses at the Institute for Cultural Anthropology and European Ethnology.

Professor Dr. Lothar Zechlin is a retired professor of Public Law and former president and (founding) rector of the Hamburg University of Economics and Politics, Karl-Franzens University Graz, and the University of Duisburg-Essen. His main areas of expertise include leadership and strategy development in higher education as well as science law.

Marco Zimmer is a professor of Organization and Management and the scientific director of the Institute for Personnel and Organizational Research (ipo) at the private University of Economics and Management (FOM), Hamburg Study Center.
