"The Fraud Triangle: A Comparative Analysis of Research Misconduct" offers an in-depth examination of the ethical aspects of research practices at baccalaureate degree-granting universities in Michigan. The study analyzes faculty members' opinions on issues such as plagiarism, falsification, and fabrication. Using quantitative methods and a descriptive survey, it investigates differences in opinions regarding publication pressure, funding levels, and research focuses. The results show that there are significant differences in opinions about falsifications that depend on funding levels. These findings suggest that leaders, especially in highly funded institutions, should closely examine the reasons for these differences. The study also recommends future qualitative and quantitative research with a narrower focus and broader sampling to further explore the topic.
