"The Selten School of Behavioral Economics" is a festschrift published in honor of Reinhard Selten's 80th birthday, the only German Nobel laureate in Economic Sciences. This collection of academic contributions celebrates Selten's significant influence on behavioral and experimental economics. While his contributions to game theory are widely recognized, this work highlights the experimental aspect of his research, which has often received less attention. The contributions come from his former students as well as leading scholars in the field of experimental research and document Selten's historical role in the development of research methodology and various subfields of behavioral economics.
