Harry Nitzer leads a special unit in Berlin dedicated to solving cold murder cases. When a colleague asks for help with a current case, they uncover a series of murders that date back a long time. The perpetrator has learned over time to leave no traces, leaving only the hope that he made mistakes in the past. As the investigators remain in the dark, more bodies begin to surface, and it quickly becomes clear that the situation is escalating.
