When drummer Tessa Tardos learns that the famous German rock band Four Lives is looking for a replacement for their ill drummer Tom, she is immediately excited. On the band's European tour, Tessa can not only immerse herself in her great passion, music, but also finally forget her worries about her sick mother, at least for a short moment. If it weren't for bassist Richie, who makes her feel at every opportunity that she is nothing more than a poor second choice for him.
