Product details
Heinrich Christian Wilhelm Busch (April 15, 1832 in Wiedensahl; January 9, 1908 in Mechtshausen) was one of the most influential humorous poets and illustrators in Germany. His first comic strip was published in 1859, followed by a book of illustrated tales in 1864. By the 1870s, he was already considered one of the prominent figures in Germany. At the time of his death, he was regarded as a classic of German humor, having achieved great popularity with his satirical comic stories. In this volume, Wilhelm Busch presents his collected folk tales, legends, folk songs, and rhymes to the public. Illustrated with 5 black-and-white plates. Reprint of the original edition from 1910.
