Vocolot is a specialized book that focuses on the contemporary Jewish women's a cappella ensemble Vocolot, which was founded in 1988 in California. The group consists of Elizabeth Stuart, Julia Bordenaro, Shana Levy, and director Linda Hirschhorn. Vocolot is known for its unique compositions and arrangements of traditional Jewish, folk, and world music songs in various languages, including English, Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino, and Arabic.
