Katharina Fuchs, born in 1963 in Wiesbaden, spent her childhood by Lake Geneva before moving back to Germany. After studying law in Frankfurt am Main and Paris, she became a lawyer and legal advisor for a DAX-listed company. Katharina Fuchs lives with her family and her Golden Retriever in the Taunus region. "Two Handfuls of Life," "New Life," and "Our Precious Life" are based on her own family story. "A Hundred Summers Ago" is her latest novel, following "Seconds of Life," "The Dream of Life," and "The Whisper of Life.".
