In the quaint little town of Wernigerode, a train from the famous narrow-gauge railway is ready to embark on its journey to the Brocken. The first guests have boarded when two men with handguns overpower the conductor. They force him to depart immediately. He can only control the train with a remote, as the driver's seat in the engine is unoccupied. A terrorist attack? The police special operations unit is alerted. Their team tries everything to stop the train. This proves to be more difficult than expected, especially as a heavy storm rages over the Harz mountains. A dramatic ride that threatens to turn into a horror trip for the hostages.
