How do we recognise what fosters a new fascism? For this, the interplay of economic, legal, cultural and other material as well as ideological factors must be examined - but it is also concrete persons who contribute to the establishment of new fascist thinking. The series gestalten der faschisierung attempts to identify current tendencies and active ideologues in philosophy, literature and politics. The authors agree that Wagenknecht is not a "fascist". And yet she builds bridges into the neo-fascist camp, has exchanged her anti-capitalist standpoint for one that finds German capitalism (which she calls market economy) worthy of support, and cultivates idealistic-conservative and reactionary ideas (naturalness of social forms of society, universality of historically specific facts, identity theories, etc.). Time for a critical examination of Wagenknecht's economic, political and cultural diagnoses and perspectives.
