Product details
Gustav Heinrich Gans Edler Herr zu Putlitz (1821 - 1890), a landowner, writer, theater director, and member of the Prussian House of Lords, made his name as a poet not through his numerous comedies and dramas, but with the small work 'What the Forest Tells', which was published in 1850 and achieved great success. It is a graceful, meaningful fairy tale in which Putlitz—using the poet's own words—recounts 'the lovely poem of creation', narrating the grand tale of nature with brilliant imagination. The present work is a reprint of an edition from 1896.
