Product details
May 1915 - Young American physicist Joe Campbell crosses the Atlantic on the RMS Lusitania. He carries a secret that has come to the attention of the military intelligence of the German Empire: at Harvard University in Cambridge, the scientist has discovered the time-jump effect, which allows for the reception of radio signals from the past. Upon arriving in Paris, Campbell is shadowed. In 1918, the Germans win the Great War and enlist Campbell in their service. Fifty years later, time radio technology has matured and is used by the imperial air force to prevent plane crashes. During the same period, the German Empire introduces a new strategic bomber - an aircraft with stealth capabilities. Power-hungry politicians and military leaders plan to misuse time radio for their schemes. With unprecedented ruthlessness, they instigate a nuclear first strike against the Soviet Union. Only one person is capable of preventing the catastrophe. What if... An extraordinary thought experiment leads to a gripping political thriller about the abuse of power and scientific research.
