Nothing seems eternal anymore. Separation is the new togetherness. In the last two decades, the divorce and separation rate has risen significantly and continues to increase. The group most affected by this is children. This book aims to help readers empathize with the thoughts of affected children, to adopt their perspective, and to understand how such experiences can be accompanied by painful and rage-filled emotions, even hatred. Parents and professionals do not always succeed in interpreting the behavior of these little "rebels." The author, Nathalie Sabas, is a social worker employed by the city of Bergisch Gladbach in the field of child protection services (youth welfare office/district social work) in the department of support for young people and families, after studying social work/social pedagogy and gaining several years of experience working with delinquent children and adolescents, as well as people with disabilities according to § 35 a SGB VIII and those with mental illnesses.
