According to the published figures from manufacturers, MMOs like World of Warcraft are very much on trend. Among the millions of players, there are naturally many students who spend several hours a day in these virtual worlds. This is a danger that the media have already begun to recognize. But is it really a danger? Or do such games offer real benefits alongside pure entertainment? "Between Everyday Life and Adventure" aims to explore these questions by first clarifying what makes this new type of game appealing and unique.
