The handle has a similar contour, and the rod resembles the strong, hollow stems that have been used for centuries as material for basket making. As a practical addition, the wooden handles feature a built-in magnet that securely holds the tools to the stand when not in use, turning the fireplace set into a decorative item in your living room. The shovel, broom, and poker of the fireplace tools appear to float on the crossbar of the matte powder-coated holder.
