Product details

The Stumpastaken by Born in Sweden is a true design classic. Designed by Jonas Torstensson in 1991, it is now available in several sizes: Small, Long, Fyran, and Ettan. All Stumpastaken are made in Sweden from recycled aluminum and allow for the complete burning of candle remnants. A prime example of thoughtful recycling.

The Stumpastaken can be individually decorated and adapted to the season thanks to versatile accessories. This gift set includes:

  • 1 Stumpastaken Small
  • 1 natural cork bowl
  • 4 mini vases
  • Matches

For the Stumpastaken Small, there are cork bowls available in natural or black, as well as matching grids for keeping warm, pillar candles in various colors, and decorative mini vases. Design: Jonas Torstensson. Material: 100% recycled aluminum.

Size: 22.5 × 22.5 × 4 cm

Care instructions: Do not clean raw aluminum with water – it will cause stains. It is best to clean it in the oven: remove candle wax remnants, preheat the oven to 60 °C, place the Stumpastaken upside down on baking paper, and wait for about 20 minutes. Wipe with paper towels afterward. The powder-coated version can be placed in a protected outdoor area but should not be exposed to wind and weather permanently.
