The special design concept of this classic Braun wall clock is based on a design principle by industrial designer Dieter Rams. The Braun wall clock is automatically set and controlled via DCF radio signal. The DCF radio time code signal is broadcast from Frankfurt and covers the area of Germany. The time code signal can be received up to 1500 km away from Frankfurt. This includes most of Central and Western Europe, including France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, and Northern Italy.
