The Danish craftsman and designer has been creating wooden art objects since 1968. He is particularly known for the Danish cultural icon "Hoptimist," which he first released in the form of the Birdies (figures shaped like birds). In 1969, he designed the figures Bimble and Bumble, following the feather figure Birdie, and in 1971, he created the frog Kvak, all of which became successful. A central element of all these figures is a soft spring. Today, his bouncing figures bring a smile to every home.
