The traditional futon is a 13 cm thick cotton mattress. It has a higher density and thickness than traditional Japanese futon bedding, while still retaining all the good qualities of a traditional Japanese futon. The traditional futon offers firm sleeping comfort and the cotton moulds to your body for optimum support.
