Product details
The simple shape of the Daiki vessels captivates with its unique surface. The linear structure that tapers downward appears to be carved, as it is actually modeled by hand in wax beforehand. The vessel is then cast using the sand casting method and is refined in several handcrafted steps, followed by nickel plating in a galvanic bath. The beautiful color gradient of the patina is achieved through various dipping baths. Daiki can be used as a cache pot for plants, but a liner or saucer should always be used to protect the metal from corrosion. The surface can be maintained with warm water and a soft cloth, as abrasive objects can cause scratches on the elegant surface.
