Eddy, the table lamp, is a work of proportion: an airy shade hovers above a heavy, organic base, creating a design in balance and movement. Steel and marble are the main elements, while shimmering brass adds the finishing touch to this atmospheric lamp. The table lamp features a flat steel shade with an integrated LED light source, balanced on a lamp base made of hand-turned Italian marble. The turning motion is emphasized by the proportion between a slender neck and a robust body, forming a silhouette that is both lively and substantial. The shade and base meet at a golden pivot in the form of a shiny brass sphere. The shade can be tilted around the sphere to control the direction of the light. With its downward-facing shade, Eddy illuminates not only its surroundings but also itself. Its light shines down on the marble, highlighting the changing character of the material. The table lamp emits a soft light that can be adjusted with the round brass dimmer, which is a refined detail on the top of the shade. Designed by Simon Legald.
