Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) have the advantage over traditional incandescent bulbs that they do not generate heat, but instead convert the majority of energy into light, consuming only a fraction of electricity. Additionally, LED light sources are extremely durable and do not need to be replaced for a long time. Because LEDs are flicker-free and have a high color rendering index, their light is always pleasant for the eyes. Objects illuminated by LED lighting appear in their true, natural colors.
