Helpful answer

No, the designation "4 x" in the product description of the "Smart+ Wifi Globe (E27, 14 W, 1521 lm, 4 x, F)" from Ledvance does not mean that the product comes in a pack of 4. This probably refers to another feature or specification of the product and not to the number of lamps in the pack. To confirm the exact number of lamps included, you should check the packaging or the specific sales details.

The "Smart+ Mini Bulb Tunable White Zigbee" light bulb from Ledvance is compatible with the Philips Hue system, but not via Bluetooth, but via the Zigbee protocol. It can be controlled using the Philips Hue app and a Philips Hue Bridge.

According to our information, this product is not directly compatible with the Bosch Smart Home system. It is a light source that works via ZigBee, while Bosch Smart Home uses its own protocols. For specific help, you are welcome to contact our customer service directly so that you can be helped accordingly. https://www.galaxus.ch/help

The manufacturer's datasheet gives the following information: "Controllable via LEDVANCE SMART+ App (with minimum Android 6.0 or iOS 11.0)... For full functionality with control via Apple Home App connection to Apple TV (with tvOS 10 or later) or iPad (with iOS 10 or later) required... Your Smart Home obeys your word - use Google Assistant and control your light via voice control".

Bosch has switched off a website that shows which bulbs are compatible. I currently have 4 in use. They work without any problems. There used to be some that were delivered without a QR code printed on them. But that should no longer be the case nowadays. By the way, the Bosch Smarthome System is awesome. It's been running absolutely problem-free for over a year.

The Philips Hue Bridge officially controls all ZigBee-based LED bulbs. Nevertheless, not all LED bulbs that use ZigBee are automatically compatible with the Hue Bridge. According to Philips, this is not due to the Philips Hue app, but to the software programming of the third-party suppliers. Therefore, before buying a ZigBee bulb, it is worth checking whether the manufacturer actually guarantees Philips Hue compatibility.

Hello, It worked wonderfully for me with the Philips Hue Bridge. And therefore also with all other automations such as Google Assistant. I didn't use the Ledvance Smart+ app at all. There are so many manufacturer apps! I wouldn't see any restrictions directly now. They are not quite as high quality as due Hue and seem to react a bit slower to me. When the light changes quickly, other colours sometimes flash briefly. All in all, I think the price-performance ratio is great!
