Unfortunately, this was recorded incorrectly. The bulbs are sold individually. Thank you for pointing this out, we will have this changed as soon as possible.
No, the designation "4 x" in the product description of the "Smart+ Wifi Globe (E27, 14 W, 1521 lm, 4 x, F)" from Ledvance does not mean that the product comes in a pack of 4. This probably refers to another feature or specification of the product and not to the number of lamps in the pack. To confirm the exact number of lamps included, you should check the packaging or the specific sales details.
The "Smart+ Mini Bulb Tunable White Zigbee" light bulb from Ledvance is compatible with the Philips Hue system, but not via Bluetooth, but via the Zigbee protocol. It can be controlled using the Philips Hue app and a Philips Hue Bridge.
This is a product revision, the white version is the newer version. However, the manufacturer uses the same manufacturer number and GTIN, so unfortunately it is not possible for us to clearly distinguish between the products.
According to our information, this product is not directly compatible with the Bosch Smart Home system. It is a light source that works via ZigBee, while Bosch Smart Home uses its own protocols. For specific help, you are welcome to contact our customer service directly so that you can be helped accordingly.

The manufacturer's datasheet gives the following information:
"Controllable via LEDVANCE SMART+ App (with minimum Android 6.0 or iOS 11.0)... For full functionality with control via Apple Home App connection to Apple TV (with tvOS 10 or later) or iPad (with iOS 10 or later) required... Your Smart Home obeys your word - use Google Assistant and control your light via voice control".
According to the manufacturer, it requires a WLAN connection: https://www.ledvance.ch/de/consumer/produkte/smart-home/smart-lampen/smart-wifi/smart-strahler-mit-wifi-technologie/reflektorform-mit-wifi-technologie-c6453?productId=123219
The supplier is from Germany. He gives us the delivery dates and I think this is his average delivery time. It may well be that the delivery arrives earlier. :) LG
Bosch has switched off a website that shows which bulbs are compatible. I currently have 4 in use. They work without any problems. There used to be some that were delivered without a QR code printed on them. But that should no longer be the case nowadays. By the way, the Bosch Smarthome System is awesome. It's been running absolutely problem-free for over a year.
I have tried this bulb and my conclusion is, hands off. The Homekit code was available but 3 out of 4 bulbs had the wrong code. I could not integrate the bulb into Homekit.
The Philips Hue Bridge officially controls all ZigBee-based LED bulbs. Nevertheless, not all LED bulbs that use ZigBee are automatically compatible with the Hue Bridge. According to Philips, this is not due to the Philips Hue app, but to the software programming of the third-party suppliers. Therefore, before buying a ZigBee bulb, it is worth checking whether the manufacturer actually guarantees Philips Hue compatibility.
Hello,
It worked wonderfully for me with the Philips Hue Bridge. And therefore also with all other automations such as Google Assistant. I didn't use the Ledvance Smart+ app at all. There are so many manufacturer apps!
I wouldn't see any restrictions directly now. They are not quite as high quality as due Hue and seem to react a bit slower to me. When the light changes quickly, other colours sometimes flash briefly.
All in all, I think the price-performance ratio is great!
You can use the "Smart+ Mini Bulb Tunable White Zigbee" from Ledvance without a Philips Hue Bridge, but there are some limitations and alternatives:
- This bulb uses Zigbee technology and is compatible with various smart home systems such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. You can control it with these systems without the need for a Philips Hue Bridge.
- If you want to control the lamp with an app that is not specific to Philips Hue, you can control it via a generic Zigbee app or via the app of your smart home system (e.g. Amazon Alexa or Google Home). However, this may not offer the same range of functions as using it with a Philips Hue Bridge.
- There is no specific Bluetooth variant for this Ledvance lamp, so you will have to use the Zigbee function.
In the meantime, I have tested the product myself.
If you switch the bulb off, it actually remembers the last settings (colour and intensity) and restores them as soon as there is power again. However, it does *not* remember if it was switched off before. Light bulbs that were switched off before a power failure, for example, switch on after the power failure with the colour and intensity that were selected when they were switched off. If you go on a trip and there is a power failure, all smart light bulbs will burn afterwards - possibly for weeks until you return.
Besides, they don't quite fulfil my use case. In my case, several light bulbs are switched on and off via a switch, and I wanted to pre-select which ones are switched on immediately (in everyday life) and which ones are added for certain moods. Unfortunately, this is not possible with this product either.
Not necessarily, according to the description there are various ways to make it work.
WITHOUT GATEWAY:
Products can be controlled via an Amazon Echo Plus without a gateway or additional station. The Echo Plus can be set up via the free app.
WITH GATEWAY:
Can be controlled via Amazon Echo, Echo Dot or Echo Show in combination with a partner gateway, Google Home in combination with a partner gateway via voice control. Without voice control, a partner gateway is sufficient. The gateway is set up via the appropriate app. Compatible partner gateways are e.g. Magenta SmartHome, SmartThings or Schwaiger4You.
Alternatively, Smart+ products can be controlled manually via a corresponding remote control.
