Hi Jasmin You need to connect the bridge directly to the wifi router as a priority. Then check whether the bridge can control the bulbs. If this is not possible, you will need a repeater with several ethernet ports so that you can connect (at least) the bridge to them. Then check the range of the bridge (depending on the size of the flat). As far as the repeater itself is concerned, you need to test between a PLC repeater (power line carrier). Basically, you plug it into an electrical socket (which MUST be on the same phase) and it should pick up the WiFi signal. Practical but not always stable! Or think about an "extension" of the wifi network ("mesh" network). hoping this helps ... a little

Not an ultimate answer, but there are two other products listed for the 800 and 1100lumen versions. I assume/hope only the attributes are wrong and the product is indeed the 1600lm version.

BT means Bluetooth, you can change colour and brightness with your app and wouldn't need a Philips Hue Bridge. The set with three bulps without BT is from another seller (Pfister), not directly sold by Galaxus. Maybe that's where the difference in pricing is comming from. On the other hand you can also buy a set with three bulps with bluetooth https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s14/product/philips-hue-white-color-ambiance-bt-e27-9w-leuchtmittel-11235542, which is also more expensive, so Galaxus prices aren't always that understandable anyways...

Yes, you can. It then simply switches on in the default setting, i.e. in white. At least that's how it is for me. You can switch it on and off as a normal light bulb using the wall switch. If you then want to change the colours or brightness, you can do this with the Hue app on your mobile via Bluetooth. Philips also has an additional switch, the "hue Dimmer Switch", which you can attach to the wall. However, it is important to know that this can only be connected to the bulb via the Philips Hue Bridge.

The dimmer should remain turned up to 100%. If you turn it down, flickering or malfunctions may occur. Control and dimming is then carried out entirely via the Hue app or via compatible smart home systems such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. For full functionality, you need a Hue Bridge that is connected to your Wi-Fi router.

You can control the lamp via Bluetooth, a WLAN (WiFi) is not absolutely necessary. Control via Bluetooth works directly via the Philips Hue app and allows basic functions such as switching on and off, dimming and colour changes. However, the Bluetooth range is limited to around nine metres and you can control a maximum of 10 lamps at the same time. For advanced functions and remote control, a Hue Bridge (Wi-Fi control centre) is recommended, but Bluetooth is usually sufficient for a light alarm clock.

Yes, the lamps support Bluetooth and can be controlled directly with the app, without an additional bridge. However, a Hue Bridge is required for advanced functions such as voice control with Alexa or Google Assistant.

The Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance lamps reach their maximum brightness of up to 1,100 lumens at a colour temperature of 4,000 Kelvin (neutral white light). According to the Philips Hue website When displaying colours, the brightness is reduced depending on the selected colour tone. However, Philips does not provide specific lumen values for individual colours. In general, saturated colours such as red, green or blue appear less bright than white tones.

The 'White & Colour Ambiance BT (E27, 13.50 W, 1600 lm)' model from Philips Hue is not equivalent to a 100 W bulb in terms of electrical power, but rather in terms of brightness. This LED bulb consumes 13.5 watts of electrical power, but produces a brightness equivalent to that of a 150 watt incandescent bulb, with a luminous flux of 1600 lumens.

No, you don't necessarily need the Hue Bridge to use these bulbs, but it is recommended to access all the advanced features. Here are the key points: - You can control the bulbs menggunakan the Philips Hue Bluetooth app, allowing you to control up to 10 bulbs in a single room without the Bridge. - However, the Hue Bridge is essential for enabling features like remote control, voice control with assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and automated routines.
