Notes:
Highly water-repellent, but we recommend placing the bean bag under a roof during heavy or prolonged rain. Fire-resistant. Extremely durable and tear-resistant. Prolonged exposure to sunlight (UV) may cause the fabric to fade.
Care:
The cover can be machine washed at 40 °C on a gentle cycle. The filling must be emptied into a box for this. Since the bean bag has a zipper, this is easily possible. Alternatively, the cover can also be cleaned in its filled state with a mild soapy solution.
Tips:
Due to the EPS beads, a bean bag can easily build up static electricity. This charge can be neutralized using a wire coat hanger; simply run it over the bean bag to discharge the static.
To prevent accidental opening of the cover, you can easily cut off the zipper pull tab with a cutting tool. However, the zipper can be easily opened and closed with a bent paperclip if needed.

EPS beads (100% polystyrene) Made in Germany by MAGMA Heimtex. EPS stands for "expandable polystyrene": Through the combination of styrene with the blowing agent pentane, foamable beads are formed in a precisely controlled process. They are 1-2 mm in size and consist of polystyrene, a pure hydrocarbon. They form the EPS granulate, the basis for our EPS beads.
EPS beads are freshly produced in a complex process on the day of filling. For the production of our EPS beads, we use a carefully selected EPS granulate. Our supplier operates according to the Responsible Care Standard, which is recognized worldwide as the most demanding commitment in the chemical industry. It confirms compliance with the most advanced standards regarding environmentally and health-friendly production methods. We consciously use an EPS granulate that does not contain health-hazardous flame retardants, as is common in many places.
Properties of EPS beads: volume-, shape-, and aging-resistant, environmentally friendly, groundwater- and food neutral, do not mold or rot, recyclable, hygienic, breathable, anti-allergic, and dust-free. Components: 98% air and 2% polystyrene.
