So the difference between the PLAY gradient and the normal gradient is that the play would be glued to the back of your Smart TV. Please make sure that you buy the correct inch size (identical to that of your TV).

The normal gradient can actually be stuck anywhere and controlled via the app or hue bridge. With the bridge, you can even make the strip "dance" to your Spotify playlist. :)

Colour gradients are not possible with the normal strip, unlike with the gradient series.

The difference is that the Lightstrip can only display one colour at a time and the Gardient can display several with a colour gradient.
