Personally I would not recommend them for outdoor use. Even if no contact with water, thy may be subject to much higher humidity. I would recommend looking for specific outdoor products. Also watch out as these come with a transformer, you need to have sufficient space for it in the ceiling box.

According to the manufacturer, the lights are protected to IP44. IP44 is a protection class according to the International Protection Class for electrical devices, which states that the device is protected against solid foreign bodies with a diameter of 1 mm or more and is protected against splashing water on all sides. This protection class is well suited for outdoor use, such as on roofed facades or balconies, as well as in certain areas of the bathroom where no direct underwater use or strong jets of water are to be expected. Meaning of the digits First digit (4): Protection against foreign bodies. The "4" stands for protection against foreign bodies with a diameter of 1 mm or more, which corresponds to a wire, for example. Second digit (4): Protection against water. The "4" means that the device is protected against splashing water from any direction. Areas of application Outdoor lighting: Suitable for outdoor wall lights, plinth lights, path lights near terraces or balconies. Bathrooms: For luminaires located at a distance of 60 cm from the shower or washbasin. Electrical installations: IP44 sockets and cable reels can be used outdoors, but often require additional self-closing covers for safety. Important notes Not waterproof: IP44 does not mean that the devices are waterproof; higher protection ratings such as IP65 or IP67 are required for this. Rain: Normal rain is not a problem for IP44 luminaires, but heavy rain or water jets require a higher degree of protection. Drying after wetting: After a shower or heavy wetting, IP44 luminaires should be dried off, as water can penetrate if the quantities are too large.
