do i understand correctly that i can use these bulbs for a non philips lamp and still connect to bluetooth without any other accessories (app only)? or do i need a bridge and/or a philips lamp for this?

Yes, they are. I've used them with the Philips Hue Bluetooth application, and also with the Philips Bluetooth remote controls. Mind you, at the time it was one or the other, now I don't know. You also need to be aware that the bulbs still need a power supply.
