Good day I have just purchased this product and was wondering how I can program colour on my latest generation philips tv I can only select one position and brightness nothing about multiple colours? What am I doing wrong?

Or you are using the wrong app. Colour gradients are also possible without the sync box. The box is there to display the strip in the colours of the TV picture.

This is only possible with the hue hdmi syncbox and a playback device such as a reciever.
