Question about Philips Hue Ensis

I don't own a Hue lamp yet. We like the design and the light settings. Our questions: 1. can I install the lamp normally and operate it via light switch? 2. can the lamp still be controlled via the app and BT? Do I necessarily need to buy accessories? 4. Which accessories would be recommended? 5. can the cables coming from the ceiling be extended/shortened? Many questions - thank you in advance.

The Hue Ensis Base BT can be installed normally and operated with a light switch. 2.
2. to use the different colours of the lamp, you need the Philips Hue Bluetooth App.
3. you do not need any accessories to control the Hue Ensis Base BT. (App)
4. if more Philips Hue lamps are to be installed, I recommend installing the Hue Bridge.
5. the cables can be shortened or extended without any problems. The two cables are held in place with clamps.
