I have 2 light switches for the entrance area in different locations. Do I need to install a wall switch module at both switches? And could I alternatively install this wall switch module at one location and replace the already installed wall switch at the other location with a Hue smart light switch without installing the wall switch module? Would I possibly just need to disconnect the power connection to the currently installed light switch? I would be grateful for any answers.

No, if both switches control the same lamp in the same circuit, you generally need a module at each switch location. If you only install a module at one location and replace the other switch with a Hue smart light switch, it might work depending on the wiring, but I am not entirely sure if that will reliably fit your installation without the module at the second location. The existing power connection to the previous switch usually needs to be adjusted so that the Hue light remains permanently powered; simply disconnecting the switch is not always sufficient for this. The safest implementation is to have the entire switch wiring properly reconnected rather than just disconnecting a single conductor.
