Question about Philips Hue Gradient Ambiance Basis

I have two sideboards with a small gap between them and I have installed a Lightstrip on one of them. Now I would like to install a Lightstrip on the second sideboard as well, but I would like the colours to continue from one Lightstrip to the other, for example with dynamic light. Is this possible with two Gradient Ambiance bases without a physical connection to each other?

No, each band is independent. However, if you physically couple them, they will be dependent on each other, so the effect will be continuous.

Simply bridge the distance with an aluminium profile and extend your 2m hue. I can't imagine whether this would work with a second strip

I have seen that there are suitable connection cables in various lengths from other manufacturers (just google it!). However, I have no experience with them yet. As far as I know, it doesn't work without them.
