Question about EGLO Tarbes

I'm looking for a lamp for above the dining table. As I also do handicrafts and puzzles there and the infrastructure does not include a dimmer, I would like to install bright LEDs in the lamp. What about the glare with this lamp? Because the light shines into the face through the grille. How many lumens would you recommend to have good light that doesn't dazzle?

It will certainly dazzle you, as the bulbs have no housing all round, but you could shorten the cables or wrap them around the upper crossbar so that the bulbs are rather high and thus out of direct view, then it will work safely if you are not too sensitive....
