Is it normal that with the Spotify sync the strip only changes in 2 colours and has no overlapping colour gradients in length...is after a return (similar case) again.

I had the same problem at the beginning. It is best to place the lamp in the middle of the projected room. Then you have several colour changes and also compl. in length.
