Is the lamp suitable for the bedside table to read in bed before sleeping? Can you also wake up with the light on in the morning or do you need an extra device?

The lamp is suitable for reading. It's also good for waking up. All you have to do is install the Hue app. You can then simulate a sunrise, so to speak. My whole flat is equipped with Hue products. I can only recommend it!
