With battery operation, the display switches off after a certain time and can be activated with a hand clap. Is this not also adjustable with mains operation? I would like to operate it on the cable, but still have the lighting completely off at night. Thanks for the info

Helpful answer

I have three of these things in my house. All in mains operation. All of them have a minimum luminous display. But since I want to read the time at any time, I don't need the hand clapper function to activate it. Sorry, so I can't help you any further. A bit negative with these things is the automatic adjustment of the time, i.e. the installation without disturbing devices. PC screens, TV screens or bad reception... With two devices, time changeover is manual.
