with the lightstrip solo you can see the individual light spots relatively well. is the tube better illuminated with the gradient? hope you understand what i mean, thanks for the answer.

you can see it like in the photo... you can see the spots, but i don't find it disturbing. i would also recommend passive lighting, which is even nicer in terms of ambience :)

The tube is not a diffuser. You can still see the LED.
