With this spot lamp you only need the corresponding socket, right? It doesn't need a transformer/power supply, right? Is there a suitable "mounting ring" that holds the light in the hole?

To use the Philips Hue GU10 Smart Spotlight, all you need is a suitable socket. A transformer or power supply unit is not required as the lamp is screwed directly into the existing socket.

Special mounting rings are available for fixing in the hole to hold the light. However, these are not supplied with the lamp as standard and may need to be purchased separately.
