Reusable filter material

The porous foam retains dirt particles. At the same time, the filter foam from EHEIM provides a large surface area for beneficial cleaning bacteria. After a short acclimatization period, the foam cartridges not only contribute to mechanical water clarification but also to the biological breakdown of pollutants.

The cartridges are reusable. For cleaning, they should only be rinsed and gently squeezed to avoid completely destroying the bacterial cultures.
