The Exo Terra Turtle Filter FX-200 is an odor-reducing filter system designed for turtle tanks, paludariums, or aquaterrariums. It comes complete with a spray bar system for better aeration and all necessary filter media. The dual-chamber design allows for maximum flexibility in maintaining mechanical, chemical, and adsorptive filter media. The flow rates have been precisely calculated to ensure a balanced relationship between mechanical filtration, water circulation, and oxygen enrichment, creating optimal conditions for successful turtle keeping.

For turtle tanks, maintenance intervals are only required every 1-2 months, while for other aquatic habitats, they are needed every 2-4 months. It includes the following filter materials: 1 fine foam, 2 coarse foams, 1 odor-reducing pad, and two carbon pads. The odor-reducing pad, combined with the dual carbon pads, ensures maximum ammonia absorption, which is beneficial in turtle tanks, paludariums, or terrariums with high biological loads.
